A desktop AI agent for Windows and Mac, with no setup

An AI agent is an AI that doesn't stop at answering: it plans the steps and uses tools to get the job done. Most agents are made for programmers, with keys to paste, terminals and settings files. MatrixX is an agent for everyone: you install it like any app, create a free account and start asking.

It works on your own computer with real tools: files and folders, apps and windows, PDFs and Word documents, the web, scheduled tasks and Telegram. It shows its steps as it works, and asks before anything important.

Things you can ask

Questions

What's the difference between an AI agent and a chatbot?

A chatbot answers in text and you do the work. An agent like MatrixX does the work: it opens the files, runs the steps and reports back.

Is it safe to let an AI agent use my computer?

MatrixX asks before running code, opening apps, moving or deleting files, or anything that costs money, and its file changes can be undone with one click.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You talk to it in plain words. (If you do code, MatrixX Code is built in.)

Is it free?

Yes, the free plan has 25 messages a day with free AI models. Paid plans add stronger models and higher limits.
