An AI that actually uses your computer

Most AI chatbots tell you how to do something, and then you do it yourself. MatrixX is a desktop app that does the task on your computer: you describe what you want in plain words, it plans the steps and carries them out with real tools, and it tells you what it did.

It can't do anything risky behind your back. Before it runs code, opens an app or does anything that costs money, it shows what it is about to do and waits until you click Allow.

How to do it

  1. Install MatrixX

One installer for Windows 10 and 11, or the Mac app for Apple chips (beta).

  2. Create a free account in the app

No AI keys to find and nothing to set up.

  3. Tell it what you need

Type a request like the ones below. It plans, works step by step and reports back.
